Dispatch Lists, also known as dispatch priority lists (DPL), are a type of production tool that consists of a document or list of orders for all goods, assets, and/or components that must be produced in order of priority. Dispatch lists can include a lot of information about each task, such as the quantity, priority, order number, location, part number, due dates, job status, and unfinished work. DPLs may be generated manually using spreadsheets, but there are now software systems that can automate and swiftly generate accurate reports, reducing the risk of human mistake.
