Engineer-to-Order (ETO) is a manufacturing method in which a product is developed, produced, built, and completed after a customer has placed an order. Engineer-to-Order techniques are commonly utilised for sophisticated and/or customised items that are designed to fit a customer’s demands. Special orders from the defence, aerospace, and industrial machinery manufacturing industries, where numerous goods are created for novel and/or demanding customer projects, frequently use the ETO approach.
