A module is a portion of a software programme that has been designed independently to meet a specific feature. An ERP software programme can be made up of modules to create an entire system, or it can be used as a supplement to an ERP system to provide interchangeable or buildable software functionality that allows for customization of features and/or interfaces to better meet the needs of customers and future scalability.
